Burns, Patios, Family [May. 21st, 2008|09:46 pm]

After about 2 hours of constant application of a cool, damp cloth, my right middle and ring finger no longer feel like hot matches are being pressed against the pads. I was able to work off the compress and they are now just slightly sore rather than a searing pain. I called the doctors office and they sent in a script for a burn cream to prevent infection and relieve pain.

My hand was well enough to help with the crushed limestone this evening, with the additional help of my uncle who was in town for a few hours and Dad, who is running the whole project since he's done a patio before. A whole bunch of the crushed limestone was delivered by dump truck, a bit over half has been spread and tamped down, the rest is covered for the evening with a tarp in case it rains overnight.

We did dinner at Sister's with my parents, aunt and uncle. It's always nice to see family outside of a holiday, wedding or funeral.

Tomorrow is Pari's last day, Marz will probably go to the end of year party with the possible addition of my mother, depending on if my parents are still looking at houses.
