cold and wet... [Sep. 18th, 2007|03:07 pm]

Picking up Pari today was just that, cold and wet. The rain started just a short time before I had to leave and pick Pari up. The kindergarteners are let out by a door closer to the road than everyone else, and that means it's harder to get a good curbside space to snag her. Usually I just park in the lot, walk a few hundred feet and walk her back to the car. In today's downpour, it went like that, but both of us were soaked when we reached the car, even with the umbrella. And Kiyan was asleep in the car, of course, so he got to stay dry (only had to run a short distance within sight of the car).

So now I'm home, in warm and dry PJ's (not planning any outing tonight, why not?) and plotting dinner. Chili filled runza's sounds good. With a side of more traditional-ish ones too that will use up 1/2 lb of ground beef from Amy's Meats I got over the weekend.

Got my work schedule, I'm off at 5 on the 28th. I'd be ready to head out at 5:30 if we're getting dinner, 6 if we're not. Let me know the details as they become available. :)
