Pari is going to be done with school in about an hour, the living room is somewhat clearer, and the laundry is caught up for the moment.

I have several sewing projects to work on, and tonight I hope to get the pattern for Pari's new faire outfit done. She's grown so much this year, I must remember to do the pattern for the next size up so I'm prepared for next year too. Luckily she's more into pirate pants and shirt than chemise and bodice, that would be harder to fit.

Three batches of paddle bread are proofing right now, I'm experimenting with wheat flour, adding olive oil, and a bit of shaping. I promise, pictures of this batch. It'll still look like bread, but pictures may explain my current fascination with this new dough of mine.

Currently I'm watching "Nomad" with Jason Scott Lee, the costuming is great from a guy's perspective. Earth tones, heavy leather belts and swords. radcliffe, you'd hate it because everyone is dirty and nothing is fitted, but for a guy it's cool.

And a special wish for a happy birthday to jensixstones, awesome friend and Sam's Club shopping companion.
