This was a display in the children's area at the San Diego Zoo. I photographed it and present it here for your amusement. I estimate that the loaf must have been made with around 7-10 lbs of dough based on my recent 5 lb bread loaf, although it is just an estimate.

i think it was the St.Louis zoo that had this as well. Larger loaf tho, it was scary to think that the loaf of bread they used could hold a condo full of mice. (there bread dimentions was 2 feet long, 1 1/2 feet tall and a 1 foot wide. had a lot of mice in it, you could hear them chew it. Said they replaced the bread once a week or every 2 weeks, depending on what they ate.... i always liked it
