The Good-Dad and I replaced my front door and screen door yesterday, now I have a front door that opens on demand. I still need to add a chain because now Pari can open it a little too easily. And today one of my 20some cousins got married, lovely and brief ceremony that was followed by a decent buffet. We left during the cake cutting because the kids hit their expiration time.

The Bad-my Olympus Digital SLR is not working properly. The auto focus is busted. So on Monday I have to call in and see if it is still under warranty (I can't remember if it's been over a year since I got it) and where to send it for repair. Until then I'll dig up my Canon G5 for use. I can't tell you how pissed I am right now, but considering this is the first time I've had a broken digital camera, it's could be much worse.

The Ugly-I'll have to mail in the camera for repair, turnaround time is about 6 days according to the website. If it costs too much I may just buy a new body and keep using the lenses I have. But it's a lot of money I wanted to spend elsewhere, and that camera was my profits for a whole year of the Clothdaddy.com business.

So I'm a little pissed by circumstances, but my family is healthy and happy so everything is ok. I just really want to throw a tantrum worthy of your average 5 year old over a broken toy.

Ick :( I'm sure you could Ebay the body and use that to get a smoking new SLR . :)

I'm sorry. When the autofocus went out on my G2, it was hosed. Best of luck...
