My son managed to remove his diaper for the sole purpose of dropping a log on the floor. I discovered this because he skidded, fell and cried. I'm in hell. |
Thank God we replaced the carpet with easy to clean laminate flooring.
sounds like time for toilet training
I know it's wrong to laugh. But that is just funny.
Fast forward to some family dinner when he's being a particularly twerpy adolescent, and you can say, "You know, this tradition of falling on your ass because you stepped in your own shit started early. Thankfully, we still have easy-to-clean laminate flooring..."
I also know it's wrong to laugh, but I can't help it.
I won't laugh because karma can make the exact same thing happen to me.
It's all just a matter of time.

I'm sorry, but that's too funny. Thankfully that's something we've never had to deal with. *knocking on the dining room table* Katie's beyond that stage, but Jami isn't quite 2 1/2, so it could still happen. So far Jami's been more interested in watching himself pee, which has it's own problems with clean up.
Ah, the joys of a 2 yr old.
Ah, the joys of parenthood...

Thinking ahead --
Repeat after me, "I really love my kids." You'll laugh later.
Oh noooes!! Poor Harold..!! Yeap.. and though I'm ashamed to admit it, I almost snarfed my coffee when I read this. ;_;
While the child-free giggle and sit back with smug faces....
You can punch me now.
I wanna comment something encouraging, but it is funny. just toss him on the pot for a few minutes now I guess. That's what we did.
