|Turkeyday in brief....
||[Nov. 24th, 2006|12:28 am]
Yesterday my parents were in town, we had lunch and dinner and many gifts were given to the grandchildren. Dad and I ran to the furniture store to pick up the daybed and trundle for Pari's room, but the floor model had sold so I paid floor model price for a new one being delivered in about 2 weeks. All is good.|
Today we went to Marz's aunt and uncle's house, Pari got to rampage with various cousins and I ate somewhat within my diet. I also discovered that I can tolerat diet wild cherry Pepsi better than other diet sodas. Saves me 200 calories.
And tonight I watched Hotel Rwanda. All I can say is that its a wonderful story of one man's courage saving 1200 refugees despite impossible odds during genocide in Rwanda, and I was actually choked up when it was over, making it a bit difficult to give Marz the brief recap.
Now I'm going to sleep, hoping Kiyan doesn't wake early again.
