Broke my new glasses, the temple is busted at the hinge. Looks like contacts for a few days, and a trip to Wal-Mart optical to see if they can order a replacement part.

A second pair of cheap frames are looking good right now.

What a pain. I used to keep old eyeglasses around just for an emergency. I just found I had pairs leftover from the 1980's in my drawer!

I'm actually wearing my old ones right now. The perscription is just slightly off.

Probably America's Contacts and Eyeglasses.
Unfortunately, the frames that come with that price are usually limited and I have a funny shaped head to fit. But thanks for the heads up.

You're right, she did mention that you have to pay more for the more stylish frames. Keeping eyeglasses in good shape with small children around is a challenge. Most of my repair jobs when I fitted glasses were parents of little ones.
