Yesterday involved a trip to the fabric store with solan_t, where I only got a little sale fabric for future use. Another trip to Joanne's by the weekend are possible (if someone wants to go today or tomorrow, let me know now, I'd rather do it in the morning so kids sleep by early afternoon.)

I secured tickets to the demolition derby, which I will attend with Sister and likely meet several people I know there. I've been told it takes hours, but that's fine with a funnel cake supply nearby. I must remember my camera, our neighbor's kid is in the derby and Sister's boyfriend usually drives the tractor to tow the demolished off the field.

Today's goals include several phone calls, a mandatory load of diapers, and at least one trip outside.

I bet the kids will like to watch the Demolition Derby. I know Alan would think it is funny!

It's way too long to subject the kids (or myself with the kids) to. I can imagine hours of Pari asking, "What are they doing?" "Why?" "I'm hungry." "I want to go home."

I'll take them in future years.

Oh. I do remember going to one in the 1970's as a child - but it was the last race in a series of races at the long closed racetrack.

Actually demolition derbies are hard to find these days. Enjoy!
