I almost forgot to mention, I spotted another asian market in KC that I'll have to check out. Off of 87th by the Elna dealer where I picked up the sewing machine today. The kids were bouncing off the walls, so no way I could check it out today.

There''s also a nice one

at 103rd and Metcalf in the same lot where the Babys R Us used to be, back around on the North side of the building (there's a kosher grocer right next door).

clean, everything is spick and span, and a wide variety of foodstuffs from Indian to chinese to japanese including Indonesian, Thai and Vietnamese, plus who knows what else.

Found it a couple of years ago, it's the first oriental market that had no dead meat smell (there is one in the River Market that will knock you off your feet if you're not braced for it...)

I think the one you found is over near Switzer? I like it for frozen dim sum. (We took about 20 bucks worth on a weekend trip to a cabin in the Ozarks, and had a reallly good lunch one day)

Re: There''s also a nice one

I've actually been to the Metcalf one several times, Marz and I discovered it when we hit India Emporium. Yes, the other is near Switzer, just happened to notice it when picking up the Elna from the dealership about 2 doors down.
