Sewing project-Snakeskin Pants Completed [Feb. 8th, 2006|11:16 pm]
Verminius Rex
I worked on two sewing projects tonight, the Parimono Dress and the Snakeskin Pants. I got both patterns drafted, then went with the pants project because I knew I could get it done tonight. The fabric is a deep red polyester with a black snakeskin print on it. The pattern was barely directional, but enough that I made all the pattern pieces go the same way, and all of the grain lines were centered on a bold line in the print. So one yard made one pair of pants. I don't remember how much the fabric costs, but I don't think it'll be very efficient for a production line to market on the site. But they will look nifty on Pari tomorrow with a black tshirt. I'll work on the Parimono Dress in the next day or two, and post pics of Pari in the pants tomorrow.
