|Avian Projectile Alert....
||[Jan. 27th, 2006|09:42 am]
I hear the sound of animal activity from the wrong part of the house. I'm paranoid about mice in the house, so I look. There is a small bird fluttering around. I opened the side door and managed to heard it out in a few moments. Pari thought it was cool. I'm wondering how it got in, time to check all the openings.|
Reminder, tomorrow is the birthday celebration at 5:30, Uno's in Lawrence. Give me a shout so I can reserve a large enough table.
I will be studying tomorrow as opposed to celebrating birthdays, because I suck. :(
The way things are shaping up, I'm going to be spending a full day in the office tomorrow (and possibly Sunday, too). [*grumble*] So it looks like I'll have to pass. Sorry!

Have a fireplace?
I don't remember enough about those houses to know if they've got a fireplace....
In our 75th St. house we had a couple of squirrels and a starling come down the chimney before we realize the furry-tailed rats had pried off the screening on top of it....
Very Carefully Lock Cats in a Bedroom (do not need the interested help...), I trapped both the squirrels in pop boxes and let them out after getting them to the porch. The starling burst out and had quite the fly around our house until we got all the lights out and opened the front door (street light right in front...), it was night and the house was brighter than outside until we did shut the lights off.
Happy birdies to you! (we had another engagement, have fun)
No fireplace, it either snuck in the side door without us realizing it, or there is a busted screen to the attic vents.
Hi! Hope this isn't too late of a reply, but Mel, Ada, and I will try to join you in the b-day celebrations tomorrow night.
There's something Uno does to its food that causes terrible reactions in my guts, so I'll not be there, but I do want to say Happy Birthday!
So, um, Happy Birthday!
