This morning I wrapped a sausage in some biscuit dough after browning. I call it pigs in a comforter. Not too bad, but next time I'll add cheese, maybe sandwich a sausage patty, cheese and egg together between biscuit dough and bake for an enclosed sandwich. I'd probably call that pigs on a futon or something.

When we were in Ireland, we were introduced to a delight called a sausage roll. Bought puff pastry sheets, spread bulk sausage on THINLY, roll up, cut into the lengths you want, and bake at 350 until golden brown. Yummmmmm!

Sausage rolls

In the UK (and in Ireland) they also wrapped regular 'bangers' (sausage) probably cooked ether entirely or at least a good deal of the way, enough to de-grease them) in puff pastry. Yum.
