Pari's first self-done and professionally done haircut pics.... [Feb. 7th, 2005|07:03 pm]
Verminius Rex
So, this morning Pari found some scissors and started to give herself a trim. This lead us to Great Clips, where we got her hair fixed, and Marz got 20 inches lopped off (if you have at least 10 inches they'll cut it free and donate it to Locks of Love). So here are the gratutious haircut pix, along with one of my father in law, who visited us this afternoon.

Haircuts

AT first I had visions of the TV commercial that's currently running "Mom, do you have an "I'm sorry card?" "What kind of I'm sorry?" "I did something and I'm sorry." "Oh, my...." (5-6ish girlchild has cut a clipper-wide swath down the middle of the front of her head hair...on the 0 setting, Yikes!).

And good for Marziah, that will probably make a good deal of one wig for a child (they said how much it takes the other day on another program but I don't remember). it looks good too.

Re: Haircuts

6-10 ponytails, because they can only use the hairs that are 10 inches or longer, and they sort them out by hand.

Wow, Marz is generous. I can't bear to get mine cut short, not even for a good cause. It's not even as long as I want it, yet.

Like I just commented to Marz - she gave herself a mullet!
