Leopard Jeans, step one [Mar. 5th, 2004|08:51 am]
Verminius Rex
I got my jeans pattern sized correctly. I'd cut it to a 38 waist size before, and it was too large so I trimmed it down to a 36 (lucky I had 2 copies of the pattern, the yoke piece needed replacing and I lost one set of directions). The fabric is prewashed, so I'll get around to cutting out the fabric sometime soon, then start construction on the pants. This time I'll start with the belt loops, so I don't get hung up on details when I'm almost done. I'm tempted to do the inside of the pockets and the belt loops in black, maybe the waistband and yoke too, but I'll probably just to it all in the same fabric. I can get creative on another one if I want.

Today has many things planned. Errand with sister, shopping with Yosa and maybe others, and I don't know if I'll get any nap in with Pari (I know, those of you at work weep that I won't be able to nap in the afternoon).

The Kerri photoshoot pics will be posted in a bit, after the Pari has been fed and placed in front of a movie while I grab a shower.
