I finished two experimental upgrades in one Parimono. This one is muslin lined and has interfacing in the collar. I tried fusable interfacing made for collars, but it curled like a demon. The light to medium weight interfacing worked like a dream. Serging the edge after it's applied to the body of the Parimono was a bit more work but not much, and I think it will add to the crisp appearance of the garment. A piece of it for the obi is probably called for, too. Tomorrow I'll cut out and start sewing for Customer #6.

Tonight was the Lawrence Photo Alliance. There were 3 presenters, two guests and one member. The guests were good and I enjoyed their presentations and photos. The member went a bit long and wasn't quite organized, so the meeting went about half an hour over. I proposed to the president of the group that we see about setting up a photoshoot with people if we can get the use of the theatre. It's the only place I can think of that would be big enough and have controllable lighting. If any of you costumers might be interested in being photographed by the group, drop me an email. It wouldn't happen until May or June, probably. We have to see if the theatre is even free during one of our meetings.

I so need to go to bed. Tomorrow is likely to be a busy day.

I'd really enjoy it if you made a trip to Muskogee this year for faire, and took some pics. My house is open, and I'd be interested to see if you come up with anything like pwca did here.

It looks tempting, but I don't know if I can do it with the wife and kid factor, unfortunately. Which is a shame, because it looks like fun.
