As I sew my first Parimono order, several things occur to me. Usually a few moments too late. Such as the fact that the new pattern has ties. *smack* No real problem, just a few moments with a seam ripper. I also get to try out my new tube turning system to make the ties. It's mostly taking out an inch of serging that irritates me. Actually, it all irritates me, but this is how I learn.

My hakama pattern (kimono pants) is on the way. Full size adult pattern, but it will tell me enough to figure out if there is a toddler option. There may be too many pleats. And my latest shipment from Mother of Eden (Fuzzi Bunz maker) should be here Wednesday, so I can ship the special order to England. I will check out some different shipping methods to various countries, to see how much it would cost. If anyone can give me some postal codes for places in Australia and England, I would appreciate it so that I can get some shipping estimates. The UPS Store is unable to give me a ballpark figure without a postal code to punch into the computer.

Chocolate Souffle didn't turn out quite as good tonight. I think that the previously frozen egg whites may have been contaminated with a bit of yoke. It also didn't bake quite enough, another 5-10 minutes would cure that gooey center issue. I'm out of chocolate chips to experiment with, and don't want to eat through 6 eggs every time I try.

Off to read for a bit, then bed.
