Ok, soon we are off to playgroup, where I'll be passing out test buttwipes and teaching a fellow mom how to spawn sprouts in a jar (it came up at the AP meeting last night). Today will be a visit to the SBDC to find out about becoming an LLC and gettting my state tax ID. We'll see how Pari is after playgroup, it may end up being an afternoon errand.

Tonight the speech therapist stops by for the first visit to encourage Pari to start talking. A quick dinner and a cleanup the living room before the visit is in order.

I tried the Indian flatbread recipe, without much sucess in the way of taste. I'll work on the recipe and try more cooking methods later. Making the dough was easy, it was just flour, salt, water and a little butter. I'm going to add some more flavor to the bread next time I make up a batch.

I'm really anxious for you to finalize that flatbread recipe so I can ask you for it! I love the stuff, and Natraz (the local Indian Restaurant) charges way too much for it.

Yah, Nanbread really needs more flavoring to be anything special.
My favorite flatbread is Peshwary Nan... coconut and raisins...ooh yummy!

I've noticed a big difference by using high protein flour (bread flour) instead of all purpose. Also, I have a good bread machine naan recipe (you shape and bake in the oven, of course) if you are technology enabled. I really like it (butter and black onion seeds on top)....

I usually read geekmom's journal, but I think I'm going to have to friend you too :) So I'm looking back through your entries and ran across this one, which made me think of my current project. I'm sprouting wheat berries and am going to bake them into bread today :)
