We had Dairy Queen for dinner, courtesy of some gift certificates we got from my parents for Christmas (along with many others). Afterwards we stopped by Hancocks to get some more fabric for the baby butwipe prototypes. I want them done before Thursday so I can pass them out to the fellow moms and get some feedback on their performance. We got some velour, velvet and this other stuff that looks like a low pile fleece on one side and is a knit. I'll see how they work and go from there. I also have various flannels from the last trip. Velours and velvets may sound strange, but they were suggested to Marz by a mom that has some. We will see.

I ordered several Priority Mail boxes, labels and tape. They should arrive shortly after the first of my inventory. Now I need to drag a shelf into the sewing room that is going to become my office, and get a few clear plastic tubs for the inventory.

The latest batch of sprouts are going well. Mung beans will be ready to eat in a few days, the red clover and radish sprouts from Sunday are starting to peek out of their shells, and the alfalfa for roya_spirit should be starting to show soon. I think the wire lids for sprout jars at the merc will fit on the big jars I own, so I may get a few more of those eventually so that I can have multiple crops going at the same time. I need to get more seeds soon, too.

My next recipe to tackle will be Parathas, which is an Indian flatbread. My old friend Sohel brought some to kai_'s potluck Sunday, and now I want to make some of my own. I have two recipes on the internet bookmarked, I'll see how they turn out.

Back to laundry and buttwipe construction.

And I may have yet another recipe for Parathas in one of my cookbooks, if you don't have luck with the ones you have. Let me know.
