First day of faire, and it rained. All day. I took off around 4 when my boss' husband showed up, so she has help to close. I looked good in my new outfit, but I didn't intend to go with the wet look of being soaked to the bone and walking around for hours. Now I am home, dry, and warm. No pictures because of the rain, but I will be putting in a little time tomorrow and monday. Let's hope for dry weather.

Yeah, pretty wet and gloomy.

Let's hope tomorrow is better! I will want a "just how muddy is it" report for if I want to make the trek out there on Monday.

Glad the costume looked good!

Unless the sun comes and does nothing but bake, bake, bake tomorrow, it's going to still be pretty darned muddy on Monday. I don't think they did a good job putting out straw and woodchips this year at all.

I'm just hoping my jerkin is dry tomorrow, otherwise it may be a kilt and doublet day. But I don't think I really have good footwear for a kilt. Maybe I'll do combat boots and wrap plaid around the uppers.

I'll give you an mud report tomorrow.
