I have made a wonderful discovery. I was looking for sheets, and saw that twin flat sheets are only about $3 each, and I now have a cheap source of photography backdrops in a variety of colors. I'm getting a pvc pipe to string them on, and some type of setup for them to hang easily. The possibilities are plentiful.

My parents arrived today for a weeklong visit. Luckily they are staying at my sisters. Mmy dad is planning to help me with at least three different projects, including tiling the shower, putting in a new vanity-sink-medicine cabinet combo, and building a new shed to replace the cheap metal one that is falling apart in our back yard. I don't mind the help or getting things done, but home improvement projects with a parent is an.............experience. I'm sure that you will hear more soon.

Looking forward to seeing Radcliffe on Monday for a trip to the fabric store. I was called by another friend about taking some pictures of a store that she is doing a web site for as a class project (right next to Radcliffe's office, amusingly enough). She hasn't gotten back to me yet, so I don't know when we are supposed to do that.
I am so sick of printing. If I could find any other job that paid me this much for weekend work and a flexible schedule, I would leave in a heartbeat. I may not even get paid for Easter vacation, since I work only half of Friday I may be considered a part-time employee. Don't doubt that they would try to screw over the help for any money they can save.

I'm quickly approaching the purchase of my vanity domain. For $15 a month I get the web address of my choice, 500 megs of space, all sorts of customer support, the ability to post using Dreamweaver, all sorts of stats about who visits my site and when, and several e-mail addresses. I'm saving my money, and it's only a few paychecks away. This is one of the few thoughts that is keeping me at the shop. No job, no web space.

That's all for now. I'm going to take a shower and go to a comfortable bed and sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeepppppppppppp.

Check out drak.net. They're extremely friendly to alternative folks. 10$/mo gets you all you said (except I have no concept about dreamweaver but ask, they are realllly good at tech support / being responsive). If you pre-pay for a year, you can get a 20% discount as well ...
