I'm working on a new photo project--lighting. I got several hooded clamp lamps for about $6 apiece, and some white primer to spray the inside of the hood for diffusion. It turns out that digital cameras don't like flashes, so spot lighting is the way to go. This also makes more sense doint the poor man's studio rather than spending $180 or so on a pro lighting setup. I'll spray the hoods today, maybe make some stands from scrap lumber downstairs, round up the extension cords, and work on setting up a photoshoot with radcliffe. Camera America suggested diffusing the hooded clamp lamps, and going with regular bulbs. Well, who am I to argue with some guys who would normally try to sell me an expensive lighting setup?
