Got straw spread in more of my garden beds, we'll see how well that keeps moisture in the ground. Getting it under cucumber vines was interesting. The cucumbers are appearing overnight now, I swear there were a couple only a few inches long and this morning was greeted by one over a handspan long (not literally greeted, more like it was just waiting there to be noticed.)

Still waiting for summer squash plants to grow, one is producing a few pickable gourds right now but the others are in various stages of growth. Zucchini is popular because it just produces better than other summer squash. Need to get more zucchini seeds in the ground.

One of the surplus garden beds was disassembled and the dirt taken out before the rain, I need to finish taking screws out of salvageable wood and get the other taken down and the dirt taken out and sifted for use next year.
