Dad and I fixed the back tap so it doesn't drip at the tap when turned on (a simple repacking became a 3 hour ordeal including 2 trips to the hardware store, of course). First of the month I'll start getting soaker hoses and a timer to set up the garden for automatic watering.

All potato plants have been pulled, and I added the last of my fertilizer to the bed and worked it in. Found an extra 2 potatoes while turning the soil by hand (need to get a long handled claw tool to save my poor back) and it is ready for the seed potatoes due to arrive any day now.

In the future I plan to get cattle fencing (4'x16' wide metal grid) and turn it into trellis for various plants including tomatoes and beans, the guy at Orchlins recommended cutting it in half and zip tying it into an A frame so it's easier to move around. Each would be a $25 investment but never wear out.
