Vine borers took out the summer squash after all, they'll get pulled and replanted soon. Already have some replacements growing in the herb bed, but I only have so much faith in them growing within the confines of a 1' wide space.

Planted a few more pumpkin seeds on the mounds, we'll see what pops up. Also spread a bit of organic fertilizer and watered it in. Potato bed is clearing out as the yukon gold plants die off, if the potatoes I saved back for a fall crop don't form eyes I'll just use the opportunity to pull out substrate, reinforce the bed and work some fertilizer into the substrate before replacing. All the beds could use the work, spreading out the load is not a bad idea.

Definitely making plans for a soaker hose system, the entire garden would benefit incredibly from it. Dad and I will repack the back tap to stop a drip when the water is turned on, then I'll get some hoses and dividers to set up something that will help for this year, but do most of the layout and such next year.
