For Kansas gardeners, here's a handy guide with planting and harvesting times for various veggies http://www.ksre.ksu.edu/library/hort2/mf315.pdf. 

Pulled another potato plant with a top that had turned brown. I'm going to set out some of the small yukon gold potatoes to form sprouts in maybe a week for planting in late June/early July for a fall crop. I still have some midseason potatoes that are going well, the yukon golds are kicking off one at a time (as expected, they are called early season potatoes for a reason). 

Kiyan just walked into the living room with one of the freshly harvested potatoes and said "Apple!" I traded him a marshmallow for the potato, so my tubers are safe for the moment.
