Got two of the apple trees in the ground (Lodi and Gala), Braeburn and Fuji yet to plant. And a cherry tree goes in the back yard when I'm done. All of them are bare root 2'-4' trees, very light and easy to plant. Best of all, much cheaper than older trees in a pot. Once everything is planted and watered I'll see about staking them so they grow up nice and straight.
I'm still working my way through the brush pile from the downed apple tree, and have a pile of logs to load into the pickup. |
