I woke when I apparently shoved a pillow over Marz's face in my sleep (pushed my pillow, which shoved one over her face). Since I was awake early I hit farmer's market and came home with some tomatoes, corn, mushrooms, Lebanese yogurt balls, eggs, green beans and some yellow squash to tide us over until the new plants in my garden produce. The vine borers have taken out most of them, talking with a couple farmers there is little to be done about vine borers besides plant another crop since they are past the boring stage when the plants are dying off.

I got the safety glasses back from Wal-Mart optical department (three days before the estimate, too) so my basic steampunk outfit is here, although the elements I still have on order would make it look tons better. One week until the steampunk photoshoot, lets see if everything arrives on time.

I got the word today that I can have the community table at the farmer's market to promote the zombie walk on September 17th. That should help attendance. I told them I wouldn't be dressing like a zombie for the market because no one wants to put on zombie makeup at 6am. And if it's hot, it would just be gross.

I'm resisting the urge to buy more stuff for the steampunk outfit since i have 3-4 accessories on the way. Luckily I'm cheap and browsing ebay for days helps me resist the urge. That plus the fact that I'm low on money keeps me from getting more. Once the steampunk outfit is done, I'll find some other project to obsess about.
