Yesterday evening a baby robin took a nosedive from a nest onto our drive. Pari found it, we put it in a box to keep it off the drive overnight. It survived the night and took it to Operation Wild Life this morning. Apparently baby birds are kicked out of the nest before they can fly and still tended for up to 10 days by the parents while they learn to fly, but this bird fell 20 feet onto my drive and appeared to have head trauma. So OWL took the bird to tend, and Pari is no longer upset.
