Figures, the latest ebay acquisition didn't totally work out like I wanted, but that's ok. I got some chopsticks with storage boxes, so I'd have a box to store Marz's lightsaber chopsticks in. They are long enough, but not deep enough. Maybe I could do something to knock out the bottom and glue them onto another base to make them deeper, but I have plenty of side projects to drive me nuts without adding "find the perfect chopstick box for lightsaber chopstics" to it. There is a point to just surrender and move on. And not only did the chopsticks with boxes not cost very much, they are pretty cool and will thrill Pari next time we go out for noodles.

I have a bunch of these spoon/chopstick combo on the way, but they are shipping from Hong Kong and I expect them later in the month. They are also a novelty item for the kids to enjoy, but that's fine with me. And being plastic, they'll last forever.

Today is rainy but not especially cold. I suspect that the rain will prevent us from swimming tomorrow (any lightning and they clear out the indoor pool, i don't care to explain that to Kiyan) and this weekend is the kids school carnival. I volunteered to help, meaning I man a game where kids throw some object into a container and get a stamp or ticket or whatever if they win.
Tonight or tomorrow I want to try making Mongolian Beef, I got a recipe that claims to be PF Chang's restaurant recipe. We'll see.
