Just finished Tiassa, although I read the bulk of it yesterday it still counts as my new book for April. I'm satisfied with the book, it gave me stuff that hadn't been covered previously, and even with some nonlinear timelines I was never lost.

It's April 1st, I don't do much in the way of pranks so I'll link you to Improv Everywhere and one of their latest "missions" that amused me. I consider this to be outsourcing my April Fools prank, but I figure if I'm not up to the job, then leaving it in experienced hands is better.

I'm currently doing a touch of research on the kingdom of Bhutan, where they apparently have something against men wearing pants. Their country's garment of choice for men is a kimono like garment called a "gho", which is belted to fall about knee length and usually worn with patterned socks and shoes. Punch it into Google or Wikipedia for a brief look if you wish. In some ways it's not as elegant as the Japanese kimono, but visually interesting to me as a costumer.

Today's goals include but are not limited to returning a library book and paying a $2 overdue fine on another one.

And to paraphrase King Leonidas in 300, "Tonight we dine...with friends!" Yeah, I'm not as hardcore as King Leo.
