I just made my first batch of ravioli using the pasta roller and a ravioli press loaned to me by stuology .  I did a beef mix for the filling since that's what I had on hand, despite a learning curve I think they turned out well. Definitely going to do them up beforehand and freeze them next time, so it's just a boil and serve dinner rather than the struggle to keep up with demand that I experienced tonight. Marz and I liked them better than the kids, but I think they went over well enough. 

At some point I'll get a ravioli press of my own. They are simple devices, and I don't plan to make enough that I need an attachment for the pasta roller. Marz is going to make the filling next time, she likes sweet potato and such more than the beef filling I default to.

One combo I made an awesome dish out of once might translate well into ravioli. Butternut squash, Bob Evan's Zesty (this is the critical bit IMO - brand matters in this case, and some form of cream/cheese. It was amazingly good. You would obviously want to brown the sausage into super small bits. In my larger dish I did some asiago, mozz, and heavy cream. I bet you could make a killer ravioli with the butternut squash & sausage, and then do the cream sauce on top. FWIW.

Anyway, in other news I've been meaning to ask you. I remember you had a great solution for ants. Help? ... what was it?

The stuff I used was called "Shang Jia" Ants Clean. The place I ordered it from doesn't exist online anymore, and I haven't found it anywhere else. Terro products usually do a decent job, I use the spray to get rid of them now and the traps to keep them out.

So, FWIW, I put out some Terro (I think that's the brand), and the ants disappeared completely :).
