Last night I did the waistbands/ties for the Combat Kimono hakama pants, this time I added some interfacing where they overlap the top of the hakama so they keep a better shape and I plan to have the top of the hakama actually sewn into the waistband rather than just tacking it on top (only looks rough if you see the inside, but I'm experienced enough to not take every shortcut when sewing).

The extra kid I was supposed to be watching today is ill, so no extra baggage. Besides general cleaning and looking for a lost library book of mine (Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter) I'm just making up a batch of bread dough to make some loaves. Jut for fun today I'm doing 3 loaves of about a pound each, rather than my usual two loaves. The only difference this would make is that it would fit into my bread slicer better. And I have to think of a third standard slashing design for the top rather than my two defaults (tiger stripe and sunburst).

I'ts a bit cold out for the park. Glad we did the zoo yesterday, at least there was some sun to warm us up. I think it's an indoor Wii sort of day, at least until my bread is done.
