After some thinking, I came to the conclusion that chickenwire for the garden fence would be better than the plastic mesh stuff I have. The plastic mesh may not hold up to a weedeater, which I'll need to control growth around the garden. I also like the idea of folding some over and burying it at the bottom, so a rabbit is less likely to be able to burrow underneath. So I have two 3'x50' rolls to set up at some point this week or next. I also need to put grids on my two new beds, and repair grids on two others (I suspect the damned rabbits chewed through a couple lines, those suckers will chew on anything).

I'm also considering making one of the beds into a cold frame to get some plants started, we'll see if I get the framing and plastic once the fence is done. If not, it's a project for next year.
