The problem starts with my wife's phone call. "Honey, there might be a news crew interviewing me tonight, could you clean the living room?"|
The easy answer would be to say "No." Then hang up and turn off the cell. But I can't do that. So I clean the living room as much as I can. And once again, I pull a solution out of my ass.
"I'll call my parents and see if we can do it at their place." Because unlike us, their house is better lit, less cluttered, and Mom keeps it immaculate all the time. And it's 3 blocks from our house.
I already have the loaf I baked today sliced and bagged for delivery to my parents for using their living room.
(Marz is being interviewed because the person who did a study Kiyan participated in is receiving an award, so she's part of the backstory or whatever the news people call side characters.)
