I de-iced enough of the freezer so that we won't deal with any more drips in the fridge for awhile. The drain in back still needs some thawing, but I can schedule a complete defrost during a warmer month, possibly while we are out of town for the weekend at a convention. If it took 10 years to build up enough ice to drip, it'll wait another 2-3 months for a complete shutdown and thaw.

At least I got the chance to go through the freezer and clear out some stuff. Not that there was too much collected, but sometime the odd french fry bag that is nearly empty turns up at the back. I also emptied all the ice into a bag for the basement freezer, sometimes it's nice to have backup ice for the odd occasion. Once it's been cooling down for a few hours I'll restock it and make a grocery run.

The kids attended a birthday party for stuology and _mac_'s son Jay, a good time was had by all and after dinner the kids are ready for bed. I'm ready for them to be ready for bed.

I've been having fun with the pasta machine, Pari is good at cranking while I handle the dough. I think I could handle it alone, so I can put off getting a motor for the machine right now. I also want to try making small thin crust pizzas and pita bread with it, you just can't get the dough that thin with a rolling pin (or at least I can't).
