Today I dropped Pari off with my mother for a couple hours, and I took Kiyan up to Cabelas to look at mounted animals and giant fish tanks. They didn't have much in the way of jerky, which I found disappointing (unless they were hidden somewhere upstairs, back when they opened there were racks of jerky every 10 feet or so). We rejoined Pari and my parents, who then took us out for dinner. Kiyan was a bit tired but after a short visit back at my parents house I brought them home.

I'm hoping that Thing 2 falls asleep soon, he's slept very well even though Marz has been out of town for almost a week. For a novelty I got a bag of dehydrated food for us to make tomorrow for lunch, I think Pari will be way too thrilled to add hot water to a bag and enjoy the resulting rehydrated goodness. I figured it was worth the fun for a single meal bag from the camping section.

Tomorrow is a friend's funeral service. I don't do well at funerals so I'm opting out of this one. It has made me think more about friends and family, and that there are things that should be done sooner than later.

On Monday I'm going to get a few things done that I've put off, including a check on a car sensor, seeing if an existing nonprofit is interested in teaming up for the zombie walk, lunch with a local friend, and possibly lunch with someone in KC yet to be chosen (if interested in meeting for lunch let me know).
