Yesterday was a comedy of errors in the simple task of picking up my car after an oil change. Was going to get it after hours with the key in the glove box, but got there early due to Marz coming home early. Parents found me walking the easy mile to the shop and gave me a lift, but were driving away when I found out they'd already locked the key in the car and I hadn't taken the spare. So a quick call, they drove me home and back (all through that annoying KU/KSU game traffic) and I was back with the spare key, driving home the oil changed car. I get to take it in soon for other maintenance and a tire rotation, but you get to do that with every car.

I got my jury duty paycheck, enough that I'll be having lunch with a friend. This afternoon we swim with Kiyan's clinician, and I have the joyful task of taking Kiyan to change in the locker room. We'd just wrap kids in towels to change before, but now it's getting cold enough that we need to teach him to change into regular clothing when we go home. This should be a small annoyance, because he does not like coming out of the pool. We use a snack and juice boxes to chill him after exiting, the addition of a clothing change to the routine should prove interesting.
