sushi stuffed... [Sep. 12th, 2010|09:53 pm]

Thanks to my parents watching Things 1&2, we were able to team up with _mac_   and stuology  for sushi at Yokohamas. The original plan months ago was to find childcare so we could go to Grandaddy's BBQ, but when we realized we could take the kids there and go anytime we want, the goal switched to a child free sushi dinner. I am happy to announce, Mission Accomplished.

I went with a Tarantula Roll, and tried a Golden California Roll (California Roll with I think fried salmon on top, and a slightly spicy mayo sauce). It was decent but not a preference. Two sushi rolls filled me up fine, Marz even had a few pieces.

Tomorrow I begin to apply the trim around the tv room. I'm making a trip to Home Depot with Dad for more longer pieces, but it should be done soon. Only a few more bits to accomplish.

Now all I have to do is get Kiyan to sleep, so I can get a decent night's rest before my busy Monday. I have chicken to smoke during the day, and after school Kiyan is part of a reading project, followed by Pari having piano.
