*sigh* beware old email headers... [Jul. 28th, 2010|04:20 pm]

I thought we were swimming today, but after the clinician didn't show I looked back at the email and realized she'd used an old email with the title "swim tomorrow", which when received yesterday would indicate today (Wednesday). Re-reading the email I realized it was an old header, and there was a spot where I suspect that she meant to use the word "Thursday", which is when I was planning to meet with the other clinician.

So now I wait for a reply to my latest email seeking confirmation on when we are in fact going to the pool. The only real frustration factor for me (there are several really) is that I hate when miscommunication complicates the simplest of plans, and I hate promising a pool visit to the kids and not delivering.

I'll survive this latest snafu, although I'm sure Marz thought my head was about to melt between me juggling a screaming Kiyan and trying to figure out what was going on with the plans. But I took the kids to the back yard, and they are playing with the hose and the inflatable frog pool while I'm updating on the newer laptop which actually has some battery life so I can bring it with me to the beloved hammock. Although ye God, this sucker runs hot.

update-apparently she was just wanting the usual day but an earlier time. *sigh*. Email makes contacting someone easier, but not always understanding.
