The battery in a Passat is hidden way the hell back under a plastic cover and trap door. It's easy to find when you know what to look for, but when you are used to the battery being big and obvious, it's a disturbing experience to not find it easily. My friend Jeff said his BMW's battery is even harder to find, it's in the trunk.

Car is jump started and will go to the shop shortly, Pari's 4H paperwork is turned in and appears correct, I may actually have time for breakfast before the next emergency hits.

Vaughn's Miata has a battery in the trunk too. How completely counterintuitive.
