Basement progress continues. Dad is framing the L shape part of the craft room, which will also contain a tool area in part of the costume closet. There is still a bit of demolition to do, but it's getting done. |
There are two sturdy but filthy plastic shelves about 6 feet tall that are free to a good home. They could be cleaned up or just used in a garage. If you want them, claim them quickly because I'll be offering them on freecycle within days.
Pari got something stuck on her finger, luckily some lotion and gentle twisting got it removed. I think she took apart a flashlight for this piece, now I need to figure out how to put it back together.
I have the desire to make a really large braided loaf of challah to play with 5 and 6 strand braiding, but today's schedule is pretty tight. Making the loaf would take about 5 hours start to finish with proofing and baking time, and between juggling the kids, Pari's piano and parent night at Kiyan's preschool, it sounds more like a Friday project to me.
