Went to Pari's 15 month checkup today. She is doing fine, right on schedule. Afterwards a dinner of chicken quesadiallas and off to class.

I got an A on the pants project, and worked on my shirt project. The first one I'm doing has no collar and a yoke that is all one piece, and the front and back pieces will be either pleated or gathered at the bottom of the yoke, front and back. I don't even want to think about the sleeves yet. The project could go pretty quick if this first one works out well, and I would have my own renfaire shirt pattern. I'm not nearly as intimidated by the idea of pleats and gathers, although collars are still a pain in the ass. Next week is spring break, meaning that I don't have my social time at school. I haven't actually gone anywhere for spring break in over a decade.

I took half a loaf of my french bread boule to class, and it got totally scarfed. Tomorrow I use up the last of the dough in the fridge and make two more loaves. After that my goal is to make some really good cinnamon rolls. Then I'll slow down and just make some basic bread loaves for awhile, and no faster than we generally eat them.

I'm still waiting for the name servers to update, so that my site is being viewed off of my new host. Then I can work on shutting down the old one, and next month move my domain registration so it's in the same place as my account. So much trouble for my little photography hobby. And I'll be able to start updating Pari pics again.
