late night tea thoughts... [Jan. 31st, 2010|10:19 pm]

Yesterday I ran to the Merc for a few groceries that you can't get at Dillons or Hy-Vee. Herbal teas in bulk, sprouting seeds, etc. I need to sprout some chia seeds (supposedly taste good and are real good for you. Not just for cheesy plantings, apparently). Right now I'm sipping some chamomile lemon tea, not my favorite but I'll use up the supply.

Pari if off school tomorrow (recording and reporting), but Kiyan is at preschool. I get to spend part of the day finding stuff for her to do. The downstairs continues to undergo remodeling, but now we need to decide how to orient the projector and the screen (we had the tv through a projector and I made a 6'x10' screen. South Park life size, it's cool). With walls taken down we have more options on how to orient the room, and we want part of it for the kid's play area. I'll discuss possibilities with Dad tomorrow. The important part is that I want all the components to be accessible from the back so that wiring is much easier than previous setups. We are hoping that the tv room is up and running by the end of February, and we'll see where everything with the craft room is at that point too.

I hate designing a room layout, I'm not the best at it. Not very good at puzzles either. I solved the Rubics cube by taking it apart. Doesn't work when trying to figure out where furniture goes in a room.
