First two dozen are nearly finished with their first rise, the second two dozen halfway through theirs. My goal for today is 16 dozen, which should sell out if the numbers remain the same, and give me a little time to shop for fresh produce afterwards. Cramming all this stuff into Sister's car is going to be interesting, but manageable. I'm just used to the vast space of the minivan.|
After I'm done with the 16 dozen I'll see if a batch of experimental Italian Delight bagels is possible. This version will have oregano and onion in the dough, garlic and salt on an egg wash on top. The change is oregano for the basil, which was overwhelmed by the garlic in the last batch. The same may happen with the oregano, but you never know until you try.
