I made 2 dozen bagels for a picnic gathering for yet another study that Kiyan is going to be in. Attendance was lower than I expected, so half the bagels were claimed by someone for a morning meeting (I like the department so don't mind). We have enough to feed Pari for the week.

Kiyan goes back to preschool tomorrow, so I'll have a couple hours to myself again in the morning. I'll need it to get the basement back in shape. All of the steel I beams used to hold the basement walls in place are about 1/2" deeper than the wall studs, so I get to add some 1"x2" lumber to the framing so we can put the wall panels back on. And find a place for, well, everything in the basement that needs to be put away or thrown away.

And I need to figure out a way to move a chest freezer from the sewing room to another part of the basement. Unfortunately it's bigger than the space I need to move it through, since a ton of shelves and such is in the way. Either I'll find a way through the wall using a sledgehammer and a saw, a way around the back through an existing hole in the wall if it's large enough, someone to help me lift it over, or I"ll be forced to clean. I fear the last option may be the only possible one.
