First batch of dough (about 6 1/4 lbs, 2 dozen bagels) was made around 7am, now they are proofed, shaped, boiled and currently baking. Only 14 dozen more and I'm done! The new process of premeasuring the dough and the salt/barley powder/flax meal sure makes for faster dough making and less mess.|
Tomatoes are nearly done, purple peppers still have a tinge of green on them. Yellow peppers are still green but very large, unlike the tiny purple peppers. Monday when the kids go to speech camp for 3 hours I'll be able to get the substrate for the raised beds and plant some squash (at least some mini pumpkins and acorn squash, the yellow squash doesn't seem to die but isn't exactly thriving. I set more seeds to sprout, to see if they do any better.
