|uncle accountant worked his magic...

Kiyan was fussy, Pari was all over the place, but we got our taxes done at my uncle's today. The return is respectable and will help us get those pesky credit card bills down, plus maybe buy a shiny object for the house. May also be used to refinance the house so we can save money on mortgage (damn you, closing costs!)|
While going over the taxes for the bagel business (heh, and you thought I'd get through a post without using the word bagels at least once) he said that I can count the mileage not only when shopping for ingredients, but when I take some bagels to costume group for a taste test. Which means, my LJ friends, some of you are about to be deducted next year because you sampled the rosemary onion bagels last week.
I'm thinking that walnut spice will be the next experimental flavor, because I have all ingredients on hand and have done enough of the savory for the moment. Some of you get to look forward to the first experimental batch in coming weeks.
Tonight I'll pull the hakama pattern up from downstairs and rework it for the final sewing project, less than a month until I have an actual event to wear it at.
