Is this an opportunity to sell fabric and other goods by the yard? We have a lot of left over leather goods, fabric and notions from Seamlyne that we are still looking to seel.
I'll post details soon, I missed most of the previous swap so I want to make sure I explain the details according to what it should be rather than what I think they were.
Yes, you can sell goods (try to keep them costume/sewing related). If you aren't aren't a KCCG member, we're charging $3 to bring stuff, as we have to pay for the space.

Alright. We'll watch for details. We closed our sewing business (Seamlyne Reproductions) in Dec 07 and still have fabric, leather and notions we aren't going to use (and an industrial serger) and want to get it out of our basement and into hand of people that will actually use it.
Crazy question - do you have any thin leather in pink? I'm looking for something to bind my Effigy stays with, but I'd definately want to arrange something before the end of the month, let alone April, because I need them finished plus the dress overtop for an event May 1.
Ok. Some more details - I'm going to be the contact person for tables (email is journalname at yahoo.com, so email me if you're definitely wanting a table). Like I said, we're charging $3 per table if you aren't a KCCG member, otherwise free to all. You can sell or trade sewing/costume items (and I know there are some interested in a serger).
*just to add*
You get to decide if you want to mess with cutting stuff or selling whole pieces at a set price.

That's always a good thing. I know the bolts of cotton lycra will be by the yard, but the hides of leather will be sold whole. No way we're cutting into them.
Thanks for the info.
Awesome!! I am so glad that we're doing this again!
And um, better organized, and not in our driveway ROFL.
This is totally unrelated, but...
I AM STEALING YOUR FIZZGIG AVATAR! So cute! Squee!
I'm looking forward to it, as I had a great time last year (got some cheap linen, got stuff where it would be appreciated).
Are you coming? Your KCCG membership lapsed last month, if you want to renew. Otherwise we're charging $3 a table (got to pay rent to 4H). I'm the contact person if you want a table.
AAAAUGH that's the same weekend as Conestoga!! My answer is, I don't know, and won't know til I come back from England. Either way, at some point, I do want to re-up my membership.
Looking forward to details. 'Cos I gots fabric to swap. :)
More details (I'm the contact person for table reservation, email is journalname at yahoo.com). You can sell or trade (or give away) whatever sewing/costume stuff you want to get rid of. Tables are $3 for non KCCG members (or you can join KCCG, just ask me how). Please pass around to whoever else you know who needs fabric/needs to get rid of fabric. It's great fun.
