Bills are paid for the month, I'm working on having a surplus on hand so I can pay them as the come in rather than waiting until payday. We have all the tax stuff, time to call my favorite uncle the accountant and trade bagels for tax refund filing. Which means I need to print out a few things for Farmer's Market, and utilities for the year since at least part of the are somehow deductible. I let him figure out how all the numbers fit together. Last year I mistook a different document for Marz's W2, and I got "that look" from my uncle, when he peers over his glasses and sighs. That time, I really deserved it.

We are down to the last couple of bagels. Looks like tomorrow I do some more experimenting with the rosemary onion bagels, and possibly add garlic to one batch to see how it works.

I think I recall hearing that if you claim a portion of utilities, rent, mortgage, etc (home expenses) that it also increases the taxes that you have to pay if you ever sell your house. If you plan on living there for several years, it's not a big deal, but something to be aware of.
